Gorham is a very famous town located in the Cumberland County, Maine in the United States of America. The town has village center “Gorham Village” along with a number of small unincorporated villages with different historical identities that includes South Gorham, White Rock, West Gorham, North Gorham and Little Falls. Gorham is a part of the Maine’s Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to the 2000 census the population in the city was found to be around 14,141. According to the U.S.A Census Bureau, the town has recorded to have a total area of about 51.3 square miles, out of which about 50.6 square miles is covered by land and the remaining 0.7 square miles is under water. Thus a considerable portion of the area is covered by water hence agriculture is the main occupation. The climate here is moderate throughout the year experiencing cold winters and hot summers. The average temperature here in maximum part of the year is 18 degrees.
