Tourist Guide Hampden
Woodmere is a very famous place located in the Penobscot County, Maine in United States of America. It is considered to be a census designated place in Louisiana. It is surrounded by Winterport to the south, Newburgh to the west, Hermon to the north and Orrington in the eastern side. Hampden is considered to be a part of the Bangor Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to the 2000 census the population in the city was found to be around 6,327. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town recorded to have a total area of about 39.0 square miles, out of which 38.1 square miles is land and the remaining 0.9 square miles is under water. A considerable portion of the area is under water thus cultivation is the main occupation followed by the residents here. There are many churches here which include the famous Pedestrian Church which indicate that the religion followed here is Christianity. The climate here is very pleasant throughout the year because of its beautiful location.
