Fort McClary

The Fort McClary is a fortification built for defensive purposes of the United States military situated on the lengths of southern coast of Maine which is the Kittery point. The fort was extensively used during the 19th century for defense purposes.

Kittery Historical and Naval Museum

This museum displays artifacts and other items which reflect the rich historical and maritime past of Kittery. Though this museum was located in the Town's Public Works Garage and today it enhances the tourists with the Kittery’s maritime history.

John Paul Jones State Historic Site   

This is a historic site featuring a bronze and granite sculpture of American naval hero John Paul Jones. Jones was born in Scotland and was a commander in the American Revolutionary War. There is a Maine Sailors and Soldiers Memorial located here as well.
