Tourist Guide Northeast Harbor
Northeast Harbor is a small pretty village located on the coast of Maine on Mount Desert Island, United States. It is near to the Bangor International Airport. The city has a small population of around 2,752 as per the July 2007 census. It has a land area of 3.15 square miles. It has got many small streams flowing to enhance the greenery of the city. It has got deep lakes and a wide stretch of pine forests. The climate is generally clear with high temperatures during summer. It is cool, windy and partly cloudy along the coast. It has also got beautiful harbors which are crowded with sailing ships and motor boats in the summer. Most of the people here belong to the catholic race. The city has got maximum number of drug and alcohol addiction, treatment and rehabilitation centers. The city is also famous for its snowmobile races, dog sledding and ice fishing. It has also got a colorful marine life with different types of lobsters, dwelling fish, etc. The greenery, cool winds and beautiful parks are helping the tourism industry to flourish in the city.
