The town of Ogunquit is located in the York County in the Maine region of United States.

This is the most well known summer resort with the motto of "Beautiful Place by the Sea". The town comes under the Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area and Portland–South Portland–Biddeford.
There are many recreational activities to be enjoyed in Ogunquit which include boat tours, whale watching and fishing excursions. Tourists can enjoy many live performing arts in the Booth Theatre and movie shows at the Leavitt Fine Arts Theatre which is a historic building featuring sloping floor and original seats.
