As per the 2000 census, the population of this city was 23,324. The society is made up of Whites (95.8%), African American (0.63%), Native American (0.33%), Asian (1.59%), Pacific Islander (0.03%) and the rest from other races.
During winter the temperature ranges from 20 to 29 degrees Fahrenheit and the coldest month is January with a minimum temperature around 12.5 degrees Fahrenheit. In summer the temperature varies from 60 to 69 degrees Fahrenheit and the warmest month is July with a maximum temperature around 78.8 degrees Fahrenheit.
