Willard Beach
Willard Beach is spread over an area of 4 acres. It is nestled in the midst of Fisherman’s Point and SMTC Campus. During summer, visitors can enjoy showers and snack shops and use restrooms.
Mill Creek Park
There are 10 acres of parkland in the Mill Creek Park. A rose garden, a fountain and a gazebo can be seen in a pond. There are several events which are hosted by this park throughout the year, like the Holiday Tree lighting ceremony and the city’s summer concert series. During winter, the visitors can experience ice skating on the pond.
Bug Light Park
The former East Yards shipbuilding complex is the site of the Bug Light Park. It comprises of almost 9 acres of parkland. In the park one can view a memorial site, lighthouse, fishing area and a walking path.
Hinckley Park
Hinckley is made up of 40 acres of wooded parkland. Here one can view fresh water fishing region, trails to walk on, two ponds and a community garden.
Portland Harbor Museum
The Portland Harbor Museum is a blend of a 19th century fort, a working lighthouse, a maritime museum and views of Casco Bay.
