Tourist Guide Springvale
Springvale is a considered to be a census-designated place in the famous town of Sanford in the York County, Maine in United States of America. It is also a part of the South Portland-Biddeford Metropolitan Statistical Area as South Sanford which is situated to the south of Springvale. According to the 2000 census the population in the city was found to be around 3,488. But the population has tremendously shown a fair amount of increase every year. Ninety-five percent of the total population belongs to the Whites, two percent to the Asian races and the remaining are of the African races. Since maximum of the total population belong to the White races Christianity is the religion followed here. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has recorded to have a total area of about 3.3 square miles, out of 3.2 square miles is in land and the remaining 0.1 square miles is under water. The town experiences a pleasant climate throughout the year with temperatures around 20 degrees. The winters are very cool and the town also enjoys snowfall in the month of January.
