McDougal Orchards & Ski Trails is located on the Hanson Ridge Road in Springvale. It opens when there is snow in the month of December. Skiing and snowshoeing is also available here through the orchards, forests and fields thus attracting tourists from the nearby cities. A warming hut is also present here accommodating around 300 people for protection against the severe cold. It is a free entity and is thus enjoyed by many people.
