The 1811 Lincoln County Museum and Old Jail are situated on Federal Street. Built from 1809 to 1811, it housed prisoners from 1811 to 1954. At present, the house is the headquarters of the Lincoln County Historical Association and features changing exhibitions. Since 1955, the 1811 Lincoln County Museum and Old Jail had been open for visitors. This museum is also a historical building which is worth visiting.
