The Hammond-Harwood House, a colonial house, holds very important place in the history of Annapolis. The museum has been collecting some of the most beautiful artifacts and fine arts collection since 1938. The collection which this place owns is finest in Maryland. The place is known for Charles Willson Peale’s paintings and John Shaw’s furniture.
