St John’s College is a liberal arts college having two US campuses, one is in Annapolis and another is in Santa Fe in New Mexico. This college in Annapolis is situated near the Maryland State Capital building. The college campus is home to the Epoch Journal, a news magazine, employing St. John’s approach to critical thought to explore world events. McDowell Hall is situated at the center of the campus, and its construction begun in 1742 by Provincial Governor of Maryland Thomas Bladen.
