The Banneker-Douglass Museum provides the history of African Americans in Maryland. This museum offers free admission, a research facility, rotating exhibits and educational programs too. The museum is named for Frederick Douglass and Benjamin Banneker and is dedicated to preservation of Maryland’s African American heritage. There are normally sponsors and a variety of preservation, exhibits, cultural lectures and arts.
