Arnold is a census designated place, CDP, in Anne Arundel County in Maryland. This place is located on the scenic Broadneck .
The early settlers of Arnold began with a farm acquired by John Arnold. He was a veteran of the 1812 war. This farm was spread over 300 acres of land on the North side of the Severn River.
