Bethesda is situated in the south of Montgomery County in Maryland to the northwest of Washington DC. It covers a total area of 13.2 sq miles and has a population of 55,277 inhabitants as per the 2000 census. Bethesda is said to be the ‘Best Educated City’ in the United States and is among the 12 top earning towns. It is one of smartest places in the USA with an upper middle class highly educated population.
The streets are lined with art galleries, live theaters, some of the best shops and restaurants. Bethesda has a cold climate with 13 inches of snowfall annually. There are around 199 sunny days all through the year in Bethesda and 43 inches of rainfall on an average. July is pleasant and January the coldest month.
