The Clinton city comprises of the entire central region of the Maryland state. Earlier the city of Clinton was named as Surratsville on the name of the first resident of the city Mr. John Surratt.
The total area occupied by the Clinton city is almost around 11.8 square miles of land. This complete area is occupied by land and only 3 acres by a water body which a lake in the vicinity of the city.
When the last census was measured in the year 2000 the population of the city of La Grande was around 26,040. No census has been taken after the year 2000 in the city. The climate experienced by the city does not vary along with time and is very stable.
The Clinton city has mostly a typical humid continental climate which is common in most of the states in USA. The Clinton city has many attractive natural features and many beautiful sceneries and landscapes which are worth watching. The city also has several museums and historic buildings which attract a variety of crowd towards the city.
