Located on the Montgomery County, Gaithersburg is a place in Maryland State. The city has the site for 220th Military Police Brigade of the United States Army Reserve. Gaithersburg is also headquartered by the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST).
The population of the city is estimated to be 57,692 people, which is the fourth largest among the state. Gaithersburg is located to the northwest of Rocksville, which is the county seat of Montgomery County.
The city was incorporated in the year 1878. It has been bestowed with the title of being one of the ‘Best Places to Raise Your Family’ and also one of the Best Places to Live’.
