Maryland State in the United States consists of Anne Arundel County. In the unincorporated northwestern region of this County, there is a locality called as Hanover. This is situated close to the Howard County line towards the South of Baltimore. Hanover is located near the intersecting point of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway and the Maryland State Highway 100. To the Northeast of Hanover is the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport which is usually referred to as BWI. Hanover is a section of the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. The headquarters of the Maryland Department of Transportation have an address in Hanover.
