Havre de Grace (HdG) city is situated in Harford Country of Maryland and is a small city having a total area of 14.0 km2. Out of the total area 74.74 %25 is covered by land and remaining by water. This name of the city in French means ‘Harbor of Grace’. Recently it is found that this city has been expanding by annexing land. The city is located at (39.548412, -76.097554) which is at an elevation of 56 feet and comes under North American Eastern time zone which is UTC-5.
The city is famous for recreation as it is based at the headwaters of Chesapeake Bay and the outskirts of the Susquehanna River. This city has five public schools and the Hardford Memorial Hospital, the oldest hospital of Harford Country. Presently the city is famous for its antique shops, historic bars and summer homes built on the water.
