Hunt Valley is a community within Cockeysville in Baltimore County in Maryland, United States. Hunt Valley is where the Community College of Baltimore County is situated. This community is surrounded by Mays Chapel, Maryland towards the Western side, by Lutherville-Timonium, Maryland towards the Southern side and by Loch Raven Reservoir towards the Eastern side. It lies along York Road and Interstate 83 towards the north of the Baltimore beltway (Interstate 695). The main commercial road across the Hunt Valley and Cockeysville region is the Maryland Route 45, which is also known as the York Road.
As per the 2000 census, the population of Hunt Valley was 19,388.
