This small city is an important centre for sports and recreation. There are several gold clubs, adventure clubs and historic places in this city to view. Some of the historic sites that can not be neglected during the visit includes Laurel High School, Laurel Railroad Station, Montpelier, and Snow Hill. Another beautiful place that must be visited in the city is the Patuxent Greens Country Club. This is the favorite place of the locals.
Tourists are attracted by its appearance as a paradise made up of wood lined with trees. Gold red leafs of these trees during the fall and loving green colors during spring is a good feast to the eyes. Calm and quiet lakes and ponds add attraction to this place and it has one of the best golf clubs. Laurel golf centre is another attractive site for golf players. Children are attracted by the pools of the Municipal parks, where they can spend their time swimming in the bluish waters.
