The Cecil’s Old Mill is a Market place and a historic site in the city of Lexington Park. The mill was built as a textile mill in 1810. One of the last water mills in the county of St. Mary is the Cecil’s old mill. The mill was utilised as a gristmill and a saw mill as soil was unsuitable for growing cotton. The mill today is occupied by more than 50 local artisans and serves as a craft centre.
