The collection at the Walters Art Museum has been collected by Henry and William Walters and they have passed it on to the City of Baltimore. The collection is pertaining to world art from pre-dynastic Egypt to the 20th century Europe. One can view 19th century European and American masterpieces, Art Deco jewelry, Old Master paintings, medieval ivories, Roman Sarcophagi and Greek sculpture.
