Manning Manse is the ancestral home of the Manning Family which was built in 1696 by Samuel Manning. The house is made of wood and has a two storey building with a large central chimney. There are 3 fireplaces and a modern wing. The house measures 41 feet in length and 31 feet in width. It is the earliest buildings in the town and a perfect example of a salt box style house. A number of restaurants have been rented in its premises.
