Boston is truly one of the cities in this country that everyone should visit at least once.
Much more like a European city than most us cities, Boston boasts more than 62 historical attractions, many parks and one of the most famous universities in the world, Harvard. Boston is not just the Capital City of Massachusetts, but it’s also the largest city in New England..so take your time to explore its colorful neighborhoods to learn more about the New England’s history.
No trip to Boston is considered complete without a walk down the two-and-a-half-mile Freedom Trail, because along the way, you will admire the famous landmarks of American History that are scattered across this great city. Freedom Trail is a good choice if you want to enjoy most of the city’s main historical sites, without spending a lot of money because it is completely free with 3 exceptions : the Paul Revere House, the Old South meeting House and the Old State House. It runs from Boston Common to the stunning Bunker Hill Monument and it takes 3 hours and more if you want to allow you the time to visit all the sites along the way, but if you are in hurry, you can do it in as little as an hour.
The Freedom Trail is great because it is marked with a red line and many different signs to identify each historical spot that are so easy to follow and it’s impossible to get lost, also without a map.
