Briggs-McDermott House can be described as a home of ‘Greek revival style’. Constructed in the year 1802, furnished between 1840 and 1910, this house has been listed on National register of Historic Places. Once upon a time, Briggs-McDermott was utilized as blacksmith shop. It also went on to shoe horses of eminent personalities such as President Grover Cleveland.
