The Brewster Historical Society came into existence around more than forty years ago. The main goal behind establishment of this society was to create and cultivate historical interest in Brewster to foster historical research, to conserve historic compositions, documents, artifacts.
There are various programs and events which are been organized in the museum, it also has a museum shop, a membership facility. There is a 19th century homestead which has also 4 permanent galleries and archives, those can be made available for the researchers during the winters. The society’s building remains open from 13:00 to 16:00 hours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the month of July, August and September. The entry is free. The buildings are air-conditioned.

36th Annual Open Air Antiques Fair
The 36th Annual open Air Antiques Fair is been organized which will feature 70 dealers in the open air event. The event takes place annually and it’s been a 30 year old event.
