Chicopee memorial State Park
This park has been managed by Department of Conservation and Recreation. Out of the total area of 575 acres, 25 acres consist of a pond. Various activities like picnicking, fishing, and swimming can be pursued over here.
Junction Skatepark
‘Junction’ can be referred to as the finest skatepark in Massachusetts. It is managed by ‘skaters’ for ‘skaters’. One won’t find bikes, scooters, or rollerblades. In short, it’s completely stocked skate shop. One can approach Junction with regards to private parties.
Timings
Junction remains open from 1500 to 2100 hrs between Tuesdays and Fridays; in Saturdays between 1100 to 2100 hrs; and on Sundays between 1100 and 2000 hrs. School-going children can come down between Mondays and Fridays from noon to 2100 hrs; and on Saturdays and Sundays at the time mentioned above.
