Nauset Light is known as Nauset Beach Light. This is a lighthouse in Eastham. This lighthouse stands 48 feet high and is made of a combination of cast iron and brick. The Lighthouse was constructed in 1877 and originally, it was situated in Chatham. However, in 1923 it was moved to Eastham to replace the three sisters of Nauset, three smaller, wooden lighthouses, which has been decommissioned. The Nauset Light house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The lighthouse was originally owned and operated by the United States Coast Guard, but was passed into private ownership in 1955.
