Fall river can be referred to as a city located in County of Bristol, Massachusetts, US.
Fall River is situated at a distance of 74 Km on the southern side of Boston, 26 Km on the south-eastern side of Providence Rhode Island, and 19 Km on the western side of ‘New Bedford’. It should be noted that Fall river lies on Mount Hope bay’s eastern shore, at mouth of ‘Taunton River’. It has acquired fame during the nineteenth century in the form of a leading center for textile manufacturing in the US. Though, this industry does not exist here anymore, landscape and culture has still remained. ‘The Scholarship City’ is the name given to ‘Fall River’. One can see that while entering the city. The motto of this place is “We will try”.
The climate of Fall River is humid. Hence the time between November and January would prove to be the best one to visit.
The population as per 2000 census was 91938.
