Foxborough town is situated in Norfolk County in Massachusetts. It settled in 1704 and incorporated in 1778. It was named after Charles James Fox and often called as Foxboro. This town is popular for the Gillette Stadium. This town was once home to the largest straw hat factory in the world.

As per the 2000 census, the population of the Foxborough town was 16,246 people. In 2009, the population is 5,538 people. Since 2000, it has had a population growth of -0.15 percent.

According to the United States Census Bureau, this town has a total area of 20.9 square miles, of which, 20.1 square miles is land and 0.8 square miles is water.
