Lenox can be described as a town located in county of Berkshire, Massachusetts, US. It’s, in fact, a portion of Pittsfield, Massachusetts Metropolitan Statistical Area.

With mountains on the eastern and western side, this region remained ‘wildered’ in to the eighteenth century. Hostilities at the time of ‘French and Indian Wars’ did not encourage settlement till the year 1750; when Sarah and Jonathan Hindsale from ‘Hatford, Connecticut’ went on to establish a general store and petite inn.
