Buckman Tavern is a historic American Revolutionary War site which was connected with the first battle of the revolution, the Battle of Lexington and Concord. This historic building is situated on the Battle Green in Lexington in Massachusetts and is at present, a museum which is operated by the Lexington Historical Society. This tavern was built in 1690 by Benjamin Muzzey. This house is also known as the headquarters of the minutemen and is significant as one of the busiest eighteenth century tavern of Lexington.
