Lynn Woods is the largest municipal parks in New England with a total area of 2200 acres. There are numerous historical sites to see in the park such as the Dungeon Rock, the Stone Tower, the Wolf Pits and the Steel Tower. One can indulge in various adventurous activities at the park such as rock climbing, hiking and cross country skiing. Lynn Museum and Historical Society is situated in an ancient home and displays antique furnishings and items. There are changing exhibitions held here from time to time.
Mary Baker Eddy House is a country house which is included in the National Register of Buildings. It is the residence of the founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy who lived here. There are a number of tours available here especially in the summer. Lynn beach is a place where one can enjoy outdoor activities like swimming, whitewater paddling, boating and fishing. Lynn Memorial Auditorium has been recently renovated and holds a number of programs as well as orchestra.
