It is a seaport that I bordered by Dartmouth on the western side, Freetown on the northern side, Fairhaven and Acushnet on the eastern side, and Buzzards Bay on the southern side.
This city has been nicknamed ‘The Whaling City’ as it was once considered to be one amongst the most significant ports with regards to whaling industry.
