Franklin Park Zoo
Franklin Park Zoo holds the credit of being one amongst the age-old zoos in United States. Zoo New England has been assigned the responsibility of operating it. This 72-acre zoo has been located on Franklin Park’s northeastern side. It’s Emerald Necklace’s last component. Around 220 animal species are found in this zoo. They have been divided in to 9 major exhibit areas; including Tropical Forest, Serengeti Crossing, Kalahari Kingdom, Outback Trail, Giraffe Savannah, Bird’s World, Butterfly Landing, The Children’s Zoo, and Tiger Tales. The zoo is operational from April 1 to September 30. The timings followed are 10:00-17:00 (on Weekdays), 10:00-18:00 (on Major Holidays and Weekends, Winter Hours, i.e. October 1 to March 31, 10:00-16:00 (Daily)
The zoo remains closed on Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day
Fenway Park
Fenway Park can be described as a stadium situated adjoining busy ‘Kenmore Square’ in Boston, Massachusetts, within the ‘Fenway-Kenmore’ neighborhood. Since its inception in the year 1912, it has gone ahead with serving as ‘home ballpark’ of ‘Boston Red Sox baseball’ club.
