Wellfleet Bay has 1,100 acres of salt marsh, pine woodland, sandy beach and some rare heathland which attract many wildlife species. This includes the shorebirds and songbirds. There are scenic trails wherein one can get to walk along with friendly volunteers. Moreover, there is also a beautiful butterfly and hummingbird garden. At the Sanctuary, there are provision of many educational programs for children and adults. This wildlife sanctuary includes walks, cruises and workshops.
