Westfield is a very famous place located in the Hampden County, Pioneer Valley in western Massachusetts in the USA. It was previously known as Woronoco meaning 'The Winding Land'. It is surrounded by Granville to the south, Montgomery to the west, Southampton to the north and Agawam in the eastern side. The city of Westfield is divided into two parts by the Westfield River. According to the 2000 census the population in the city was found to be around 40,072. The town has a total area of about 122.6 square km; out of which majority of it is water. Westfield is also bordered by the volcanic cliffs known as the East Mountains. Westfield is a multi-cultural city with the presence of Italians, Christians, Polish and Irish people. The climate here is very pleasant throughout the year because of its completeness with mountains and rivers. This city is one of the leaders in the production of cigars and whips along with many other important organizations.
