One can find the world’s largest tire in Allen Park. The tire was moved from the New York World’s Fair to Allen Park is 1966. This is an 80 feet tall tire and weighs almost 12 tons. This tire is located off Interstate 94. However, in 1998, Uniroyal stabbed the tire with the largest nail in the world. This nail itself was 11 feet long and 250 pounds. This was done for promoting the puncture resistant Tiger Paw Nailguard Tire. The Big tire actually withstood the assault and the nail was removed and given to the city which put it on sale on eBay in the year 2003.
