Sanilac Petroglyphs State Historic Park in Bad Axe contain American Indian rock carvings, known as Sanilac Petroglyphs, engraved in sandstone and some of the main carvings are almost thousand years old.


Pioneer Log Village has a unique settlement of historic buildings including a barn, a log cabin home, a chapel, a blacksmith shop, a school house and a general store. The furniture dates back to the 19th century pioneer style.
