This is a church tower which was designed by the architects Wirt Rowland and George D. Mason. It has the world’s largest carillon with a large number of bells and was installed in the year 1960. The church is set on forty acres of landscaped lakeside grounds and is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in the Michigan region. The church has sculptors made by leading architects such as Marshall Fredericks and Lee Lawrie. There are ceramic tiles made by Pewabic Pottery in the interior of the church.
