Detroit Institute of Arts; better known as DIA; can be referred to as one amongst the biggest, and the most important art collections all over the US. In the year 2003, DIA was ranked as 2nd biggest municipality-owned museum within the US with collection of arts valued at around 1 billion dollars. There are around 100 galleries in this institute; which cover 62893 sq. m.
