The museum of contemporary art Detroit or rather known as MOCAD is a non-collecting contemporary art museum in the cultural center of Detroit. The museum presents art at the forefront of contemporary culture. It is a 22,000 square foot building and a converted former auto dealership which was designed by architect, Andrew Zago. The architecture itself is intentionally raw.
