A historic commercial district, Eastern Market is the largest historic public market district in the United States. It is the largest and the most colorful market and host to over 150 farmers and vendors from Canada, Michigan and Ohio. This market offers fruits, breads, vegetables, honey and many such products. Since 1891, the market has been home to an amazing community of merchants, farmers, shops, restaurants, residents and food lovers. It first opened in 1841.
