Tourist Guide Gaylord
Gaylord is a city that is situated in the U.S. state of Michigan. Pontresina city of Switzerland is supposed to be the sister city of Gaylord. As of the 2000 census recordings the city is regarded to have a population of 3,681 which indicates that it is a very less populated region in Michigan. In recent years Gaylord has been developing as a tourist center because of the skiing and golf resorts located here. Gaylord is also the seat of Roman Catholic Diocese and is by far the smallest colony that serves the Roman Catholic cathedral. The city has a total area of only 4.0 square miles out of which 0.25%25 is water and the rest is land. The city has two high schools one being the Gaylord High School which is the largest school in the Northern part of Michigan. The three major economy generating areas of business include taxation, Agriculture and Tourism. The city experiences an average temperature of around 20 degrees in summer and around 6 degrees in winter.
