Holland Museum is the historical museum which reflects the diverse history and ethnic features of the city. The Cappon House and Settlers House Museums display the story of the early history of Holland settlers. There are Dutch decorative art exhibitions, furniture, Delft pottery and paintings displayed here. Neil’s Dutch Village is an amusement or theme park with live animals, a wooden shoe factory, Dutch chair swings, gardens, canals and authentic Dutch architectural designs.
The Outdoor Discovery Center is a natural wildlife area which covers 120 acres of land. The attractions here include the Ottawa summer village, live deer and elk, a bird sanctuary, four miles of walking trails, wind turbine and more. The Windmill Island is a botanic garden display with an authentic Dutch windmill brought here from the Netherlands. This 36 acre park is filled with manicured flower gardens and has the influence of Dutch architecture
