Capital Region International Airport was formerly called as Lansing Capital City Airport. This is a public Class C Airport. As per the airport authority, there were 429,639 people who flew in or out of this airport in 2008. This airport was open to public in 1928 and there were 70,000 people who attended the opening ceremony. Almost 2,160 acres, the airport has a business center too.
