The Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest museum had a rich heritage which is celebrated through lectures, exhibits and with special programs on the 2nd floor of the historic pleasant house. This museum also includes children’s activity room, a research center and exhibits of fashion and history of the places. There are also exhibits which focus on creator of Tarzan, the roots of Oak Park and on Edgar Rice Burroughs.
