Freedom Hill County Park covers hundred acres of land which encompasses a number of picnic areas, walking trails, playgrounds and more. There are several events held on the grounds of the park each year.
Sterling Heights Public Library has an online library calendar and registration, Wii games, a museum that gives information about the history of Michigan State and more.
SterlingFest Art & Jazz Fair is an arts and crafts fair which includes various entertainment programmes such as the Meijer Laser show and an annual balloon launch. Along with the concert the venue provides refreshments and snacks and displays the work of more than hundred artisans.
The Sterling Heights Area Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest in the county with more than one thousand eight hundred and fifty members. There are several seminars and programmes held by the organisation from time to time to benefit the community and city.
