Anoka is a city which is situated in Anoka County in Minnesota. This city is the county seat of Anoka County and is also the Halloween Capital of the World as it hosted the first Halloween parade in 1920.This city was first settled by immigrants in 1844. The city was formally incorporated in 1878.
Anoka city lies at the convergence of the Mississippi and Rum River, and almost twenty miles North West of Minneapolis. As per the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 7.2 square miles of which 6.7 square miles of land and 0.5 square miles is water.
